I'm looking for a great haircut for long hair?

You just tell them that you want them to put in some REALLY long layers but NOT to touch the length at all. Really hammer in the point about not touching the length or you'll come out with short or just shoulder length hair. Tell them you want a lot of texture and more body. If you have really thick hair, ask them to razor in the layers, otherwise let them scissor them in. Add a couple of highlights to help with texture and accent the layers. When they're done cutting it, to style it, have them roll your hair on the biggest velcro rollers they have, put you under the hair dryer for about ten minutes, then take out the rollers, add a little spray and separate the waves, and there you go...gorgeous hair!!
