The asteroid apophis.?

I was looking up an article on Nostradamus 2012, and there was a link to this asteroid, and it's now got me worried, the 2012 thing I don't believe but this asteroids collision with earth in 2036 seems pretty likely, the thing that has got me the most is, in a few years I would love to try for a baby but I couldn't imagine bringing ip a baby that will only die a young man/woman and in such a distressing way. If anyone has any soothing words, advice or statistics I would be ever so grateful, thanks x
