Do you think Batman: Arkham Asylum could've made a great movie and sequel to The Dark Knight?

I'm playing through Batman Arkham Asylum at the moment and I can't help but think this could have been an absolutely awesome movie and would be a great sequel to The Dark Knight. They run perfectly with each other. Though if there was an Arkham Asylum movie, it wouldn't have Heath Ledger :(
