I have been given solid anhydrous sodium carbonate how do i make it a liquid??I guess i use distilled water?

You can put the solid compound into solution by adding it to water, but that is making it an aqueous solution - not turning it into a liquid. In order to "make it a liquid" you would need to heat it to a high temperature and melt it, although I am pretty certain that if you heat up sodium carbonate you will end up producing CO2 gas and another compound instead of molten sodium carbonate.
