How can I clear an object stuck in the hose of my Hoover Windtunnel vac?

its a rubber piece that got sucked in when I was vacing behind the toilet. I can see it in the vac hose but it is completely lodged in there. (its in the hard plastic part of the hose before the flexible hose part)
